Tangnan Philippines Disabled Community Funding Program — Press Release & Announcement

Gate Charity, Gate Group’s non-profit philanthropic organization, recently visited a community of people living with disabilities in Panglao, Philippines, on August 6.

Since 2008, the Disabled Village in Tangnan, Philippines has served as a home and community for various people with disabilities. Located in the Tangnan district of Panglao Island, it is a housing development funded by the local government and a small amount of donations. Each year, the local government expands housing to accommodate families. Currently, there are 39 occupied households. The funding program is to offer an additional funding boost that will help provide more support, ensuring they can live a bit happier and more comfortably.

Gate Charity will now launch the Tangnan Philippines Disabled Community Funding Program, to encourage donations to improve housing facilities. With the funds raised from the donation channel, the Gate Charity team will be able to assess their needs, then look into purchasing or upgrading housing and home facilities and equipment that help provide more support, ensuring the disabled residents can live a bit happier and more comfortably.
