One of the most frequent requests we’ve received at Gate.io is the ability to purchase crypto using fiat currencies. As Gate.io remains committed to catering to the needs of our users, we have launched our new Fiat Gateway in partnership with several leading companies in the industry.
Gate.io has launched a comprehensive new fiat gateway that will allow users to purchase crypto using over 20 different fiat currencies in partnership with Legend Trading, Mercuryo, BANXA and Simplex. These companies’ services have been integrated into the Gate.io exchange offering a seamless experience to our users.
Users are now able to purchase crypto using 23 supported fiat currencies including USD, CAD, EUR, GBP, RUB, IDR, JPY, TRY, UAH, NGN, KES, ZAR, GHS, TZS, UGX, BRL, AUD, CZK, DKK, HKD, NOK, PLN and SEK. Mercuryo, BANXA and Simplex allow purchases using a Visa or MasterCard debit or credit card, with BANXA also allowing purchases using Bank Transfer, SEPA, Apple Pay, Google Pay, POLI, Bpay, PayId, IDEAL and SOFORT.
Presently, users will be limited to purchasing a select few cryptocurrencies including BTC, ETH, BAT, ALGO, TRX, OKB, BCH, EGLD, BNB, LINK, LTC, XRP, MANA, CHZ and stablecoins such as USDT, USDC and DAI. Users will be able to use USDT to purchase any of the over 800 coins and tokens now listed on the Gate.io exchange.
