Leading BRC-20 Exchange Gate.io Offers $22,000 in Prizes for BRC-20 Traders
Several BRC-20 tokens managed noticeable gains over the past day as traders continued flocking to join crypto’s latest trend. Launched as an experiment this past March, BRC-20 tokens live on the Bitcoin blockchain via the Ordinals protocol and have grabbed attention for being the first Bitcoin-based token standard to gain traction.
As per data on Gate.io, the largest exchange to support BRC-20 trading, multiple Bitcoin-based tokens experienced huge daily peaks as high as +80% on May 5th. The tokens include PIZABRC (+81%), NALS (+31%), BSVBRC (+40%), ORDI (+17%), and several others that had notable daily peaks. Despite claims that the trend is over, some of the popular BRC-20 tokens are continuing to make moves daily.
Where BRC-20 tokens are traded
Following the parabolic rise of BRC-20 tokens in the past weeks, traders rushed to find exchanges that offered support for these tokens. In response, Gate.io, one of the top crypto exchanges, announced support for over 10 BRC-20 tokens, including the most popular such as pepe and ordi.
