Gate.io Successfully Hosts Web3 and Crypto Event “Top of Encryption — Taipei Party” in Taiwan
Gate.io hosted the Top of Encryption event on May 18, 2023. The event gathered blockchain industry leaders and experts in Taipei, Taiwan, to discuss Web3 and cryptocurrency market developments.
International and local blockchain leaders and enthusiasts attended the event at the Huashan Restaurant near the Huashan Cultural and Creative Park in downtown Taipei. Attendees participated in discussions and shared ideas regarding current and future developments in blockchain and crypto. Gate.io provided unlimited drinks and snacks along with red packet giveaways containing merchandise.
WaiWai, a Gate.io analyst, former BTCC financial analyst, and founder of the Crypto Academy education platform, provided industry insight and knowledge in his speech titled “Influence of Stablecoins on the Financial Market, Exchange Rate and Price of Assets”. Additionally, another speaker Whispering Cat 6A, an investment group composed of several traders focusing on cryptocurrency investment research, talked about his suggestions for novices on cryptocurrency quantitative strategy and had broad discussions with other attendees.
The event culminated with industry peers and partners of Gate.io receiving awards for their contributions to the mutual goal of furthering the blockchain industry and for their consistent support for Gate.io. Awards presented at this event include “KOL Best Influence Award” “KOL Best Potential Award” as well as “KOL Best Sharing Award”. Along with celebrating partners, the event also highlighted achievements from the World Cup Trading Competition Season 4, Gate.io’s seasonal spot and futures international trading competition. One of the awards was dedicated to a user’s contributions to WCTC. All receivers of the awards shared their experience of trading at Gate.io with the other audience at the event.
The event proved successful in cultivating discussions surrounding Taiwan’s growing Web3 industry, crypto markets, trading tips, and the future of finance. Furthermore, international and local users unable to attend also participated through event livestreams and social media discussions.
