Last week, Gate.io CMO Marie Tatibouet was interviewed by Finance Monthly on gender equality in the blockchain industry.
Marie mentioned that the blockchain industry is male-dominated due to several reasons. However, we can see an increased number of female presence in the space as blockchain influencers who bring unique approaches to the industry.
Marie also stated: “Forty percent of our (Gate.io’s) workforce are women, holding important positions across horizontals such as product development, marketing, communications, and technology. A gender dievrse workforce is key in being directed towards business solutions, especially while designing and creating strategies around user experience, marketing, etc.”
