Gate.io has ranked 7 and become one of the BTI verified exchanges in the market surveillance report (April, 2019) of BTI

The latest market analytics report (April, 2019) from the Blockchain Transparency Institute (BTI) shows that Gate.io has ranked 7 of the exchanges by real volume as one of the BTI verified exchanges.

It is with great pleasure that Gate.io has been verified by BTI and we strive to keep providing our users with great functionalities, good service and a quality user experience.

BTI has launched the BTI Verified Self-Regulatory Initiative to both certify real volumes and to provide services for exchanges that wish to use their algorithms and data to keep their platform clean. Exchanges with under 10% wash trading over the past 30 days have been labeled as BTI Verified.

In addition, BTI indicated in the report that the new methodology is much more accurate than previous methodologies as it removes suspicious volume on individual pairs being executed between the spread.
