Gate Charity, a global non-profit philanthropic organization, has recently visited Darülacaze, the oldest charity organization and nursing home in Turkey. Gate Charity also made a donation to support the well-being of the disadvantaged people in Darülaceze. This was Gate Charity’s second initiative to support the local Turkey community, following its first event of working with the Turkish animal rights and welfare organization, HAÇİKO.

At the charity event, the Gate Turkey team met elderly guests from Darülacaze and chatted about their life stories during afternoon tea. After the visit, Gate Turkey team made a donation to the institution on behalf of Gate Charity, aiming to support the institution to help more people in need of care.

Darülaceze, the oldest charity institute in Turkey, was founded by Sultan Abdulhamid Khan in 1895, and has been home to nearly 80,000 people since its establishment. Regardless of religion, ethnicity, class or gender, Darülaceze opens its doors to people in need, the elderly, the disabled and orphaned children.

Kafkas, Country Head of Gate Turkey, said: “Darülaceze is one of Turkey’s oldest charity organizations and provides support to all kinds of people in need. We are honored to launch this charity initiative to help support Darülaceze as well as the residents it holds. We also welcome the crypto community to join us in our efforts to build a more equal world through the power of blockchain technology and philanthropy.”
