Gate Charity Visited Chilren’s Home in Japan and Turned Children’s Art into Charity NFTs
Gate Charity, a global non-profit philanthropic organization, recently held its second on-site charity event in Japan on 3 February 2023. Gate Charity team visited a non-profit Children’s Home in Japan to celebrate Setsubun, a traditional Japanese holiday, and invited children to create a total of 27 drawings on the theme of Setsubun. These paintings will be used for charity NFT minting and fundraising.
Since Gate Charity volunteered to teach English classes for children aged 4 to 5 in a children’s home, Gate Charity team recently reached collaboration with another Japanese children’s home. Together with the teachers, Gate Charity team guided 30 four to five-year-old children to create beautiful drawings based on the Setsubun theme. They obtained 27 drawings full of childlike innocence. In the future, Gate Charity will cooperate with Gate NFT to mint these 27 children’s drawings into NFTs for charity sale. All profits from NFT sales will be used for charity donations to support the healthy growth of children.
Gate Charity was established at the end of 2022 and created a Web3 charity powered by blockchain technology: Gate Charity and Gate NFT have jointly minted the paintings drawn by the children of the Dongming Children’s Welfare Center in South Korea into NFTs, and launched them into public sale on Gate.io, all profits went directly to the children and provided them with Christmas gifts. With the success of the first charity NFT series, Gate Charity subsequently cooperated with Vietnamese and Indian institutions in the same model and achieved a good market response. This drawing activity of the Japanese children’s home will also follow this charity
