Gate Charity Successfully Raised Funds for Stray Animal Care In Japan Through NFT Charity Sale
Gate Charity, a global non-profit philanthropic organization, has successfully raised funds through a charitable NFT collection named “Gate Charity Stray Animal Care NFT (Japan)”. The funds raised have been donated to the NPO organization “One Heart Sakura” Stray Cat Support in Japan.
As part of the initiative, Gate Charity first converted photos of cats and their footprints into NFTs and partnered with Gate NFT, Gate.io’s NFT launchpad and marketplace, to launch the collection. The charity collection featured 10 unique photos of cats and includes 500 NFTs available to mint.
The charity sale was a huge success, and the Gate Charity team visited the animal rescue station “One Heart Sakura” Stray Cat Support on 28 April 2023, to donate 2,495 USDT (300,000 Yen) face-to-face with all proceeds from the NFT sale. The team also awarded a donation certificate and took a photo with Sachiko-san Miyazaka, who founded the NPO organization “One Heart Sakura” Stray Cat Support in 2021.
Gate Charity aims to promote animal rights and positivity through feeding, housing, and caring for all animals in Japan. The success of this initiative will help in the fight against animal cruelty and neglect in Japan.
