Gate Charity Officially Launches, Strengthening Mission of “Promoting a Balanced World”
The use of blockchain technology presents a unique opportunity for organizations to increase transparency and decentralization in their social responsibility and philanthropic efforts. With blockchain, it becomes easier to direct resources toward important charitable causes and ensure that they are used effectively. In light of this, Gate Group officially launches Gate Charity, a non-profit blockchain philanthropy organization, with its dedicated page to educate users about its purpose and encourage user engagement.
What is Gate Charity
Gate Charity is a global non-profit philanthropic foundation organization focused on driving the blockchain philanthropy movement globally. Operating under the mission of “Promoting a Balanced World,” Gate Charity aims to unite the crypto community to close the poverty gap, improve the lives of the underprivileged, maximize educational equity, and promote environmental sustainability through innovative and trusted blockchain networks and crypto initiatives.
What has Gate Charity achieved so far?
In November 2022, Gate Charity kicked off its founding by working with the Turkish animal rights and welfare organization, HAÇİKO, donating to support the well-being of neglected animals and paying a visit to one of the shelters.
Subsequently, Gate Charity volunteers donated to the Ky Quang II Pagoda in Vietnam, delivering food and clothing to over 280 parentless children, many of whom live with congenital disabilities. And more recently, Gate Charity donated 50 food packages and clothing to a disadvantaged Aeta community in the Philippines and organized a holiday event for the local children.
In December 2022 Gate Charity announced its first blockchain-centered initiative, where children from the Dongmyeong Child Welfare Center in South Korea will have their artwork minted and sold on Gate NFT. All proceeds will go towards supporting orphans in the center’s care.
