Gate Charity Donates to Animal Shelter in Brazil, Integrates Gate Pay and Gate NFT for Fundraising
Since its inception, Gate Charity, a global non-profit blockchain charitable organization associated with the crypto exchange Gate.io, has carried out several philanthropic initiatives dedicated to uplifting underserved groups, communities, and organizations worldwide. This January, Gate Charity launched its first initiative in South America.
Over the span of two days, the Gate Charity team and volunteers visited Vale da Rainha, an animal rescue and rehabilitation shelter located in Minas Gerais, Brazil, donating funds to support the well-being of rescued animals. In addition, the two organizations forged a partnership to integrate Gate Pay and Gate NFT as fundraising tools for the shelter.
Vale da Rainha’s journey began in 2011 when its founders, Patrícia and Vitor, decided to leave their city and reconnect with nature. Since then, with the help of their volunteers, they have spearheaded a noble mission of rescuing and rehabilitating animals, spreading animal rights awareness through education, and promoting compassion.
During the visit, Gate Charity donated funds to provide basic living materials such as food and medicine for the shelter. Furthermore, Gate Charity volunteers heard the stories of animals living in the sanctuary and, under the guidance of the shelter’s volunteers, assisted with medical treatment for the animals and cleaning the sanctuary environment.
In addition, Vale da Rainha Shelter will cooperate with Gate NFT and Gate Pay. As a result, users can now donate cryptocurrency, receive NFTs, and buy merchandise to support the shelter.
As its first charitable action in South America, Gate Charity is excited to launch this philanthropic initiative and looks forward to helping more people and organizations imprint a positive impact on the world.
