Gate Charity, the philanthropic arm of the crypto exchange Gate Group, visited Manav Mandir Gurukul, an organization working for the educational cause of disadvantaged children in New Dehli in India, to celebrate Christmas with 56 children there and deliver food and gifts during the festive time on 25 December, 2022.
Manav Mandir Gurukul is one of the arms of Manav Mandir Mission Trust which has been working for the educational cause of underprivileged children since 1993. It believes that education is the single most powerful intervention for transforming lives and getting rid of the vicious cycle of poverty. For hundreds of deprived children, education is the only weapon that will open doors to provide them with equal opportunity, so that they can grow, learn and realize their potential.
The visit by Gate Charity was part of a charitable mission to support education and promote better opportunities for learning for children in India. During the visit, the Gate Charity team and the children enjoyed Christmas-themed activities together, such as a drawing competition and a treasure hunt contest. 56 children received caps and socks as gifts as warm protection against the cold winters in India.
